Job Description Manufacturing Controller Who: Strong Stable Manufacturing Company What: Controller – Manufacturing When: Immediate need Where: Duluth, GA Salary: 120k-130k Office Environment: In office Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of the Accounting department, covering Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Purchasing, and General tasks. Provide regular financial reports to owners, the president, and external reporting establishments on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Oversee the company’s cash position, banking relations, credit policies, and procedures, ensuring cash is balanced daily and projections are accurate. Maintain contracts, leases, and sufficient reserves for cash, inventory, and accounts. Develop annual budgets for the company and individual departments, updating the budget file as needed. Update material and labor cost centers, and provide estimating and sales teams with annual machine and labor rates. File all tax returns for the company monthly and annually, including sales and use, personal property, and corporate taxes. Assist auditors by providing all necessary documents and schedules for the annual audit and tax filing. Conduct annual reviews of corporate business, worker’s compensation, and other insurances, contributing to final insurance decisions. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance.
