This strategic role is responsible for overseeing global financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, optimizing operational expenses, and supporting business growth through data-driven financial planning. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of the telecom and IoT connectivity industry, supporting operations across Europe, North America, and APAC. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in driving financial excellence and strategic impact in a rapidly evolving, high-growth tech company. Key Responsibilities Lead financial reporting processes (monthly, quarterly, annual) in accordance with GAAP. Ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions (EU, UK, US, Canada, APAC), including FCC and tax filings. Oversee daily accounting operations: general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and connectivity-based cost tracking. Develop accurate forecasts, budgets, and financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to shape pricing models, evaluate vendor contracts, and optimize revenue strategies. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics including IoT SIM usage, wireless billing, inventory control, and operating costs. Lead audit preparation and build effective relationships with auditors, banks, and financial institutions. Implement and maintain robust financial systems and internal controls to ensure transparency and data integrity. Prepare stakeholder-ready financial reports for executive leadership, investors, and board members. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. 7+ years of financial experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a Controller or senior finance leadership role. Proven experience in the IoT, telecom, or wireless data industry, supporting multi-region operations. Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial compliance, and tax regulations across global markets. Proficiency in wireless connectivity platforms. Hands-on experience with financial software and ERP tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Avalara, TimelyBill, Quickbase). Strong analytical mindset, leadership ability, and excellent communication skills across business and technical teams. Ability to thrive in a remote work environment, managing multiple priorities in a high-growth, fast-moving company.
