We are seeking a skilled and motivated Japanese/English Bilingual Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Japanese and English, possessing strong organizational and communication skills. As a Japanese/English Bilingual Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient office operations and facilitating effective communication. Responsibilities: • Assist in daily office operations, including answering phones, handling emails, and managing correspondence in both Japanese and English. • Provide administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining files. • Serve as a liaison between English-speaking and Japanese-speaking staff, ensuring clear communication and understanding. • Translate documents, emails, and other materials accurately between Japanese and English. • Assist in coordinating travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries. • Manage office supplies and inventory, and assist in procurement as needed. • Help organize and prepare for meetings, conferences, and events, both in-house and external. • Support HR-related tasks, such as onboarding documentation and maintaining employee records. • Assist in preparing reports and presentations in both languages. • Contribute to the maintenance of a positive and collaborative office environment. Qualifications: • Proficiency in both written and spoken Japanese and English is essential. • Proven experience in an administrative or office support role. • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite. • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. • Detail-oriented and strong problem-solving skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to navigate between both languages seamlessly. • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
