$64.27 per hour • Shift 2 differential:
$2.50/hour • Shift 3 differential:
$6.00/hour • Overtime paid at
1.5x
average straight-time rate • Double time paid at
2x
average straight-time rate
LTC Closed Door Pharmacist Highlights • Contract-to-hire opportunity • Full-time schedule, 40 hours per week • Weekly timekeeping (time in / time out) • Onsite position • Shift schedule:
7 days on / 7 days off, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
LTC Closed Door Pharmacist Responsibilities • Accept and dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal laws • Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness • Monitor patient medication compliance and identify overuse patterns • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records • Counsel patients on proper medication usage, side effects, interactions, and storage • Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications • Prepare and compound medications, including sterile solutions, following proper procedures • Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks • Maintain proper inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies • Identify and communicate drug-related issues with physicians and healthcare providers • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and pharmacy interns
LTC Closed Door Pharmacist Requirements • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree • Active
New York State Pharmacist License • Ability to work overnight shifts • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days If you think this
