Specialty Pharmacist – Central Fill Pharmacy Onsite | Memphis, TN 3 Pay Rate: $61 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM; Saturdays 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM as needed Position Overview We are seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join a fast-paced, highly automated central fill pharmacy environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented pharmacist who thrives in a collaborative setting and is motivated by accuracy, efficiency, and patient safety. You will work alongside pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and an operations team to meet production goals while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and dispense medication orders accurately and efficiently Oversee automated pharmacy systems, including hopper replenishment and workflow management Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, clerks, and support staff Perform quality assurance checks during production as requested Document and report medication errors to appropriate leadership Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal pharmacy laws Oversee return-to-stock processes Provide guidance and assistance with medication order fulfillment Offer professional drug and product information to the operations team when requested Monitor proper storage, handling, and distribution of medications Complete end-of-day responsibilities, including following closing protocols Promote teamwork by assisting colleagues as needed Adhere to company and pharmacy policies and procedures Maintain strong attention to detail in all aspects of work Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution Active, unrestricted Registered Pharmacist license in the state of Tennessee Eligibility for licensure in additional states (multi-state licensure preferred) Prior pharmacy experience preferred Experience in a high-volume or central fill pharmacy environment preferred Ability to work evening shifts and Saturdays as needed Strong communication skills with both customers and internal teams Physical Requirements Ability to sit and stand intermittently for extended periods Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks such as typing Ability to push or pull carts as required Why Join This Opportunity Competitive hourly compensation Modern, automated pharmacy environment Collaborative and supportive team culture Focus on accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence Qualified candidates who are passionate about pharmacy operations and delivering high-quality results are encouraged to apply.
