Pay Rate:

$61/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (as needed)

Must-Have Requirements: Active, unrestricted Tennessee Pharmacist license Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution Ability to work evening shifts and Saturdays as required

Job Description: The Pharmacist will work in a highly automated, high-volume central fill pharmacy environment alongside pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and operations staff. This role is responsible for managing pharmacy workflow, ensuring accurate and timely dispensing of medication orders, and maintaining compliance with all applicable pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities: Review and dispense medication orders accurately and efficiently Provide oversight of pharmacy automation systems, including hopper replenishment Supervise and support technicians, clerks, and other pharmacy personnel Perform quality checks during production as requested by the operations team Document and report medication errors to the Supervisor and Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations Oversee return-to-stock processes Provide guidance and assistance during medication order fulfillment Offer professional drug and product information to the operations team as needed Monitor proper storage and distribution of medications Complete end-of-day procedures, including building closing protocols Promote teamwork by assisting team members as needed Adhere to company and pharmacy policies and procedures Maintain strong attention to detail in all pharmacy operations

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution Active, unrestricted Tennessee Pharmacist license

Additional Qualifications: Prior pharmacy experience preferred Eligibility for licensure in other states

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a high-volume or automated pharmacy environment Multi-state pharmacist licensure Strong verbal communication skills with customers and internal personnel
