Management Accountant
Location:
Flexibility to work from anywhere in the South‑West. Hybrid working with the option to work predominantly from home and attend the nearest hospice (Charlton Farm, Little Bridge House, or Little Harbour) as required for meetings. Occasional travel to other hospice sites may be necessary.
Salary:
£41,837 – £47,849 per annum (pro‑rata if part‑time).
Hours:
Full‑time (part‑time hours may be considered for the right candidate; please note this in your supporting statement).

Responsibilities
Work closely with the Senior Management Team to prepare annual budgets, forecasts and performance reports that drive organisational success.
Produce monthly management accounts and KPI reporting, and lead on restricted fund administration and investment analysis.
Build strong relationships with budget holders, guiding them through financial principles and creating bespoke reporting solutions.
Support statutory accounts and develop innovative processes that enhance efficiency; act up as Head of Finance when required.
Qualifications
Accountancy qualification (CIMA, CIPFA) or a part‑qualified accountant; salary may be adjusted based on level of qualification.
Experience in management accounting, budgeting and financial reporting.
Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems; experience of Xledger is advantageous.
Collaborative communicator able to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
Positive, supportive team member with the confidence and initiative to use at‑will decisions.
