Our iconic South Florida hotel is looking for a Bell Captain to join its team! A Bell Captain is responsible for supervising Bellpersons, transferring and storing guest luggage, and responding to guest requests.
The ideal candidate has bell captain or similar hospitality supervisor experience in an upscale hotel setting. We are seeking someone with full open availability who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Prior full‑service luxury hotel experience of a similar size is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Greet and escort arriving and departing guests to and from their accommodations
Retrieve and transport guest luggage
Inspect guest rooms and acquaint guests with the rooms and their features
Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Organize and store luggage, as needed, according to guidelines
Supervise, monitor and develop team member performance, including supervision, scheduling, counseling, evaluations and recognition
Recruit, interview and train team members
Ensure team members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, facilities, events, pricing and policies, and local area amenities
Assist in the maintenance, appearance and functionality of equipment
