Position Summary The Change Manager drives enterprise transformation by defining strategic roadmaps and implementing comprehensive change management strategies, including stakeholder assessments, training, and resistance management. This role leads strategic communications across all organizational levels, crafting tailored messaging and managing communication channels to ensure consistent alignment and adoption. The position serves as a trusted advisor to leadership, builds change champion networks, and tracks transformation progress through metrics and dashboards while continuously improving processes based on lessons learned and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement organizational change management strategies and plans focusing on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems, and technologies.
Assist in defining and developing a structured approach to transitioning individuals, teams, and the organization from a current state to a desired future state.
Plan, implement, and guide individuals and teams through organizational change to minimize disruption and achieve successful outcomes.
Develop processes aimed at helping employees understand, commit to, accept, and embrace changes in the organization, such as new leadership, new team structure, implementation of new systems and technology, or the adoption of new business models and processes.
Create and design communication materials, conduct training sessions, assess operational and organizational needs, and utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure, monitor, and evaluate outcomes.
Continuously assess outcomes, track performance to goals, train employees on new methodologies and business practices, and readjust goals as necessary to increase the likelihood of success.
Build and maintain change champion networks throughout the organization to support transformation initiatives.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on change management best practices and organizational development strategies.
Required Education / Experience
Typically requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Required Skills
Project management, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
Change management expertise including resistance management, organizational assessment, and transformation planning.
Public speaking and presentation skills with ability to engage audiences at all organizational levels.
Internal communications experience with proven ability to craft tailored messaging for diverse stakeholder groups.
Internal marketing and design capabilities for creating engaging communication materials and training resources.
Executive engagement skills with experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
Emotional intelligence and empathy to manage the human side of organizational change.
Data analysis and metrics tracking to measure change initiative effectiveness.
Facilitation and coaching abilities to guide teams through transformation processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related fields.
Change management certifications such as Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), ACMP Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, APMG Change Management Foundation, or similar.
5 or more years of relevant work experience in change management, organizational development, or related fields.
Experience with change management methodologies and frameworks (ADKAR, Kotter’s 8‑Step Process, etc.).
Project Management experience or equivalent project management credentials.
Experience with digital transformation initiatives and technology adoption programs.
Location & Travel
Location: Tallassee, Alabama.
May be required to travel to one of our manufacturing/customer locations up to 40% of the time when necessary.
