INNOVIT USA INC is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join our team as a W2 candidate.
Visa: Open to any visa type with valid work authorization in the USA.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and scorecards
Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into data visualization solutions
Connect Tableau to multiple data sources (SQL databases, Excel, APIs, cloud platforms, etc.)
Optimize dashboard performance and ensure data accuracy
Create calculated fields, parameters, LOD expressions, and advanced visualizations
Implement data security, row-level security, and user access controls
Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support for Tableau reports
Document dashboards, data sources, and development standards
Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data models and ETL processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
Solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts
Experience creating complex calculated fields and LOD expressions
Knowledge of performance tuning and best practices in Tableau
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Power BI or other BI tools
Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Understanding of ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, Alteryx, etc.)
Tableau certification (Desktop Specialist, Certified Data Analyst, etc.)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
