Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Tableau Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced data visualization solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data analysis, database management, and cloud‑based data platforms. This role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver insights that drive strategic decision‑making, utilizing a broad skill set including ETL processes, big data technologies, and modern analytics tools. The Senior Tableau Developer will play a key role in enhancing our data infrastructure and ensuring scalable, efficient reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain complex Tableau dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.

Design and implement scalable data models and visualizations that provide actionable insights.

Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to optimize ETL workflows using tools such as Informatica, Talend, and Shell Scripting.

Integrate data from diverse sources including AWS, Azure Data Lake, Hadoop, Oracle, SQL Server, and Big Data platforms like Apache Hive and Spark.

Utilize SQL, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and RESTful APIs for data extraction, transformation, and automation tasks.

Support data warehouse architecture design and database modeling for efficient data retrieval.

Apply analysis skills to interpret complex datasets and identify trends or anomalies.

Assist in model training and analysis for machine learning initiatives.

Follow Agile methodologies to ensure iterative development and continuous improvement of analytics solutions.

Stay current with emerging technologies such as Looker, Linked Data, Hadoop ecosystem components, and cloud services to enhance reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or Data Analyst with advanced visualization skills.

Strong proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, Python, VBA, Bash scripting, Shell Scripting, and ETL tools like Informatica or Talend.

Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Azure Data Lake.

Solid understanding of Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Apache Hive, Spark, and related ecosystems.

Familiarity with data modeling for Data Warehouses and Database Design best practices.

Knowledge of Looker or other BI tools is a plus.

Experience working within Agile development environments.

Analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and present insights clearly.
