Responsibilities
Creating pro‑formas using Argus and Excel
Drafting offers
Reviewing leases, purchase contracts, and other legal documents
Collecting and analyzing due diligence information
Conducting market analysis and forecasting
Preparing loan and equity request packages
Compiling investment committee packages for senior executives
Performing business analysis
Creating contract exhibits
Working closely with acquisitions, asset management, legal, and other teams on duties related to acquiring commercial assets
Qualifications
Demonstrated understanding of financial topics and experience underwriting commercial real‑estate assets
Proven Excel skills and competency with complex formulas
Strong writing and verbal communication skills with sound judgment
Knowledge of Argus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to navigate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
Limited travel required to visit potential acquisition deals
Driven and ambitious
Self‑motivated
Creative and highly analytic problem solvers with quick learning ability for new markets and complex projects
Undergraduate degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related work experience
Excellent MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, communication, and writing skills
Strong Argus valuation software skills
Interest and/or experience in commercial real‑estate investments
1–3+ years of commercial real‑estate underwriting and investment experience
Strong research skills
