Responsibilities
Creating proformas using Argus and Excel
Drafting offers
Reviewing leases, purchase contracts, and other legal documents
Collecting and analyzing due diligence information
Market analysis and forecasting
Creating loan and equity request packages
Creating investment committee packages to present to senior executives
Business analysis
Work closely with the acquisitions, asset management, legal, and other teams to assist with the many other duties involved in acquiring commercial assets
Qualifications
Driven and ambitious
Self‑motivated
Creative and highly analytic problem solvers; ability to quickly digest information on new markets and complex projects
Undergraduate degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or Economics (or related work experience)
Excellent MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, communication, and writing skills
Strong Argus valuation software skills
Interest and/or experience in commercial real estate investments
1-3+ years of commercial real estate underwriting and investment experience
Essential Functions
Ability to comply with company rules and regulations
Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with internal and external parties through two-way verbal and written communication (speech, hearing, and writing)
Ability to analyze and communicate finance and accounting information
Ability to work long hours
Ability to work independently and be able to accurately discern when to refer matters to supervisor
Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication
Ability to travel
