Job Summary Provides top‑rate service to all customers by processing routine transactions accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities include cashing checks, accepting deposits and withdrawals, processing loan and money‑transfer payments, and promoting MCB’s products and services.
Identify customers and accurately manage various transactions, including validating and cashing checks, accepting cash and checks for deposit, receiving and counting cash, and processing cash withdrawals.
Perform specialized tasks such as preparing cashier’s checks, personal money orders, and exchanging foreign currency.
Provide services such as ordering bank cards and checks.
Receive and verify loan and mortgage payments.
Balance currency, cash, and checks in the cash drawer at day’s end.
Answer inquiries regarding checking and savings accounts and other bank products.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
Climbing, reaching, standing, lifting, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive motions.
Medium exertion: exert up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
Require close visual acuity for tasks such as preparing and analyzing data, and viewing a computer terminal.
Education and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Some clerical, administrative, cash handling, sales or customer service experience preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
Accurate and efficient task completion.
Team player with a dynamic, “all hands‑on deck” approach.
Strong problem‑solving skills and commitment to MCB’s vision.
Positive, resourceful, and flexible attitude.
Effective communication with diverse communities and cultures.
