Music Therapist | Hospice | Per Diem
Faith Hospice is seeking to add a per diem Board-Certified Music Therapist to our team! This key team member provides music therapy services to hospice patients and their families and loved ones.
What will you do?
Provide music therapy consultations and assessments
Develop treatment plans catered to the needs of patients and their families and loved ones
Implement treatment plan through music interventions
Consult with other members of the interdisciplinary team to provide exemplary care to Faith Hospice patients and families
Educate hospice staff members on the appropriate use of the music therapy program and encourage referrals from all clinical team members and volunteers
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy or degree in Music with a Music Therapy Equivalency Certificate is required
Board Certified as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) by the Board Certification of Music Therapists (CBMT) is required
Hospice and Palliative Care Music Therapist certification preferred
Experience with terminally ill patients and their families, as well as familiarity with the aging process, death and dying is highly valued
Commitment to Faith Hospice's philosophy of care, values, mission statement, and organization culture
Per diem
As per diem, provide coverage when needed due to vacations or leaves or high census
Specific coverage needed March - June 2026, 3-5 days per week
