This job Specialist plays a key role in shaping and communicating compelling visual messages across digital, electronic, and print media. This position supports both internal and external communications by designing custom graphics and developing visually engaging collateral that aligns with brand standards and strategic goals. Projects include logos, brochures, signage, web graphics, presentations, packaging, social media content, and internal communications materials.

Duties and Responsibilities

Design and produce a wide range of visual materials for print and digital distribution, including brochures, newsletters, presentations, signage, and social media content.

Collaborate with internal departments, including the marketing team to conceptualize and execute high-impact design solutions.

Translate complex ideas into visually engaging graphics that support branding, marketing, and corporate messaging.

Create multimedia content for digital newsletters, email campaigns, and social media platforms.

Assist in managing and creating content for internal and external communication channels.

Work with external vendors such as printers, print brokers, and suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials.

Stay current with design trends, web technologies, and best practices to continuously improve creative output.

Support internal collateral needs including forms, posters, and announcements.

Participate in occasional travel for client presentations, trade shows, and industry events.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work across media.

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite

Proficient use of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, etc.).

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Applications (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).

Working knowledge of WordPress development.

Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.

Basic photography and photo editing capability.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Basic photography/videography and photo/video editing skills.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.

Be able to juggle multiple tasks and be adaptable to switch between projects at a moment’s notice

Demonstrated experience in effective writing, and communication skills.

Google Analytics and digital analytics tools

HTML email creation

SEO fundamentals

Education

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design, communications, or related field plus 1+ years of relevant experience, OR

Associate degree in a related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience

Physical Requirements

Up to 10% Travel Required

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Essential functions of the job are to effectively exchange information with team members and stakeholders, in person or through appropriate communication tools.

This position follows a hybrid work schedule, typically consisting of three days onsite and two days of remote work per week

Occasional physical activity required for trade shows (e.g., lifting, reaching, kneeling).
