Reporting To : Dean of the Division of Health Professions and PTA Program Director

Job Duties (Practical)

Assist in the PTA lab by reinforcing and demonstrating clinical skills to students.

Answer students’ questions and assist with grading during practical skill check‑offs.

Gather and organize equipment and supplies for lab sessions.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the course instructor.

Maintain professional license and certifications required by the program.

Support the college’s vision, mission, and priorities.

Attend in‑service training on sexual harassment and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

Minimum of an Associate Degree.

Current, unencumbered OK Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant license.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated clinical skills in the courses being taught.

Training & Working Conditions Work includes frequent communication with students and faculty, standing and moving within the lab, operating equipment, and handling up to 50 pounds of force. The position requires use of a computer and may involve exposure to hazards such as moving mechanical parts, electrical current, heat, or chemicals.

Job Opportunities Day, evening, or weekend work as required by the course schedule; campus and/or online teaching may be required.
