Job Summary and Responsibilities The registered nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care of each assigned patient. They provide direct patient care, supervise nursing staff, anticipate patient needs, follow up on all care related activities, ensure physician orders are accurately transcribed and carried out timely, coordinate the plan of care, conduct disease‑specific teaching, participate in assuring care continuum, collaborate with nursing and ancillary services, model leadership behaviors, foster teamwork, mentor peers, interpret electronic fetal monitoring strip, assess mother and fetus in utero, and communicate status to the provider.
Job Requirements
Resident nurse program student, upon hire.
Registered nurse with a minimum of 6 months experience within the last year.
Registered nurse: CA, upon hire.
Basic Life Support – CPR, upon hire.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program, upon hire.
