Plant Hygienist Our client is seeking a Plant Hygienist to play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and high‑performing manufacturing site. This role is ideal for someone who wants to own sanitation programs end to end, influence site‑wide hygiene standards, and partner closely with operations, quality, and R&D to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Lead and maintain cleaning and sanitization programs, including work instructions, validation protocols, and the site C&S Master Plan.
Optimize cleaning and CIP recipes in collaboration with cross‑functional teams to improve efficiency, compliance, and sustainability.
Train employees and standardize sanitation best practices across the site and network.
Own environmental, utilities, and equipment hygiene monitoring programs, including trending and reporting.
Support investigations, audits, and regulatory inspections as the site hygiene SME.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a science‑related field (Chemical Engineering preferred).
1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to sanitation, microbiology, risk assessment, and CGMP/ISO standards.
Strong technical writing, data analysis, and cross‑functional communication skills.
Experience with CIP systems, audits, and continuous improvement is a plus.
CFS Hygienic Design and/or 3A‑SSI certification preferred.
