Your help is needed to help prepare wonderful tasting plant-based meals for mobile distribution to food insecure children and families in San Diego County.
Volunteers work alongside Grandma Lulu's Table's Executive Chef to chop, cook, assemble, and package wonderful plant-based meals that will cultivate a change in eating with the food insecure.
Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes Must be able to follow directions from the Executive Chef and work independently.
Training Provided:
Volunteers will receive a brief kitchen orientation and safety overview before beginning their shift.
Attire:
Closed-toe shoes; covered arms and hat. Hair nets will be provided. This project takes place in a commercial kitchen environment. Expect a fast-paced setting with hot surfaces, food preparation areas, and standard kitchen noise levels.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for 3 hours working in a commercial kitchen.

Requirements Age Minimum (with Adult): 21+, Minimum Age: 21+.
