As a (Senior) MarTech Engineer (m/f/d), you will form the technical backbone of our entire MarTech landscape. You take ownership of the backstage layer of our intelligent marketing stack and ensure that data, systems, workflows and integrations run stable, clean, and scalable. You are a true “marketing technologist” — building solutions, enabling teams, and troubleshooting issues. You’ll work closely with CRM, Web, Analytics, Enablement and IT to transform our marketing organization from fragmented into automated, integrable, and intelligent.

Take responsibility for integrations between CDP, CRM, DAM, CMS, PIM, Social, Analytics and other tools
Set up, maintain, and optimize events, tags, triggers and interfaces
Ensure reliable data flows and support root‑cause analysis and issue resolution
Collaborate with IT on architecture, security, interfaces and hosting
Workflow & Automation Operations
Implement technical use cases for CRM, Social, Web, Content & Paid
Support cross‑channel journey implementations
Lay the technical foundation for personalization and segmentation
Data Quality, Governance & Process Excellence
Guarantee data quality, deduplication, tagging and tracking standards
Take ownership of technical playbooks, documentation and QA processes
Contribute to the marketing data model in the integration layer
Tools & Vendor Support
Support key platform operations jointly with IT and Procurement
Assist in tool audits, evaluation processes and efficiency analyses
Technical Enablement & Stakeholder Support
Act as the technical point of contact for marketing teams (HQ, hubs, international subsidiaries)
Build guidelines and technical enablement together with the Enablement team

4–7+ years of experience in MarTech Operations, Marketing Engineering, MOPs or Digital Technology
Strong technical understanding of APIs, webhooks and event/tagging architectures
Practical experience with CDP, CRM, CMS, DAM, PIM and marketing automation systems
Good grasp of data models; SQL skills are a plus
Structured, analytical and pragmatic mindset
Confidence in explaining complex systems clearly
Enjoy collaborating across teams and supporting technical enablement
Excellent English skills; German is a plus
