CT Technologist - part time , two 12 hour shifts per week

What will you do?
Provide high-quality Computed Tomography test results with minimal supervision. Coordinate these services within and outside the health system to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of our patients and staff.
Qualifications:
Completion of a 2-year AMA-approved school of radiographic technology and a valid NYS License AART.
3 years of experience in CT in a healthcare facility preferred, but candidates with exceptional ratings as a Rad Tech will be considered.
Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate patient care.
Knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan; ability to assess patient data and interpret requirements based on age-specific needs.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Support hospital goals and live the CARES values at all times.
Thorough understanding of NYSDOH and JCAHO radiation guidelines.
Ability to perform CT independently.
Basic CPR training required or to be completed within 3 months of hire.
Ability to work night shifts and other shifts as needed.
