Patient Care Tech, Respiratory Therapy – Per Diem
Join UR Thompson Health as a Patient Care Tech, Respiratory Therapy – Per Diem. This role is intended for a current Respiratory Therapy student to assist in a clinical capacity while in school, offering a flexible schedule that can be worked around class schedules – days, evenings, nights, including some weekends.
Pay range:
$19.94 – $25.00, based on experience.

Main Responsibilities
Assist the Respiratory Therapist in turning around respiratory equipment, obtaining requested supplies, and restocking coding carts.
Support clinical duties as assigned.
Demonstrate entry‑level skill and knowledge in respiratory therapies.
Work independently, displaying flexibility in decision‑making and prioritization.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with patients, providers, family, staff, and visitors.
Guard the confidentiality of sensitive information, including patient, staff, and health system data.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Enrollment in a Respiratory Therapy program with at least one completed semester.
BLS certification required.
Minimum age 18 years.
Previous healthcare experience preferred.
Pay: $19.94 – $25.00, starting pay based on experience.
