What you will do The Assistant Program Director is responsible for the quality delivery and oversight of the treatment, educational, vocational and student health and welfare services in accordance with Rite of Passage policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local rules, regulations, licensing, practices and laws. In the absence of the Program Director, this position is responsible for the day-to-day site operations, administrative oversight for the site, and leadership of the site management team. This position ensures that the Mission and Values of ROP are represented in every facet under his/her organizational control.
Responsibilities
Operations:
Site operations, policies and procedures; educational/vocational departments; safety, health and welfare of staff and students; clinical services; chairperson for site Management Meeting; oversee delivery of the Rite of Passage daily program.
Finance:
Assists the Program Director with managing the budget, site expenditures, Position Control Roster, and reporting.
Human Relations:
Training and continuous development of site management team; ensure training compliance (Pre-Service, Ops, OJT, and In-Service); employee evaluation discipline and corrective action; ensure proper staffing levels within Position Control Roster standards.
Qualifications
Have a BA/BS in a related field (master's degree preferred).
Have experience working with the Department of Juvenile Justice in Florida.
Have a minimum of four years of related experience in residential facility management.
Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.
Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
