Guardian Pharmacy of Boise, a member of the Guardian family of pharmacies, invites you to join our rapidly growing team. We are reimagining medication management and transforming care. Our core focus is delivering customized medication management solutions to support healthcare organizations serving seniors and individuals with complex care needs. Responsibilities
Hire, manage, and schedule delivery staff to ensure adequate coverage for workflow within budget. Evaluate workflow processes and implement changes as necessary to meet deadlines and efficiency targets, ensuring overtime is at lowest possible levels. Manage, maintain, and train the delivery department to perform tasks related to on‑site equipment provided by pharmacy to clients, including medication carts, emergency medication kits, and fax machines. Ensure all delivery‑related documentation is maintained appropriately so records are accessible immediately. Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently. Ensure each driver is fully trained on routing system, work rules, and quota expectations within 30 days of hire. Develop training manuals and programs for the department and update as needed. Assign work volume appropriate to each driver’s duties and measure both productivity and accuracy for each driver. Maintain actual salary costs for delivery function within annual salary budget. Work directly with pharmacy operations as the communication contact to the delivery team. Maintain all vehicles and record mileage for each vehicle on a monthly basis. Act as a delivery driver as needed; on‑call required. Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed. Qualifications
Prior management or supervisory experience, ideally in pharmacy, healthcare, or logistics. Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage competing priorities in a regulated, patient‑focused environment. 2+ years of related dispatcher/delivery service experience. High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred. Pharmacy technician license/certification/registration (preferred or willing to obtain). Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Advanced computer skills; Excel preferred. Great attention to detail and accuracy. Schedule & Flexibility
Primary schedule: Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Flexibility within those hours to support operational needs. On‑call coverage coordination to ensure uninterrupted patient service. Saturday coverage as needed (planned in advance when possible). Salary
$45,000 – $55,000 (based on experience). Benefits
