H.E. Neumann is looking for a Mechanical Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Charleston, WV !
THE ROLE AT A GLANCE:
Candidate must perform all aspects of developing preliminary and/or definitive detailed estimates and proposals for labor, materials, and equipment associated with mechanical construction projects encompassing hydronic/weld piping and sheet metal.
Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
Obtain and evaluate vendor and sub-contractor pricing for compliance with project specifications and drawings.
Attend pre-bid site meetings, verify site conditions, and interface with Owners, Developers, and General Contractors.
Manage the bid preparation and formal written proposal process in its entirety.
Electronically maintain records of all working documents and data to back up estimates and proposals.
Collaborate with internal engineering and project management teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or a related field is preferred.
Ability to understand/coordinate Mechanical Construction with other building trades (Architectural/Structural etc.)
Computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with good communication and writing abilities.
Ability to work under tight deadlines with an emphasis on multitasking.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational time management skills.
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
