Summary The

Senior Cultivation Technician (Tech II)

reports directly to the Cultivation Manager and plays a critical role in executing daily cultivation operations. You will perform hands‑on tasks throughout the plant lifecycle, help maintain optimal growing conditions, guide junior team members, and support compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations.

Responsibilities

Perform cloning, pruning, defoliation, trellising, topping, feeding, and plant health monitoring

Assist in harvesting, trimming, drying, curing, and storing cannabis

Maintain and troubleshoot irrigation systems

Monitor and adjust environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and lighting

Apply preventative sprays and assist with Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

Ensure cultivation SOPs and state regulations are followed

Document and maintain detailed cultivation records

Guide and support junior cultivation staff

Maintain high standards for cleanliness and safety in all cultivation spaces

Operate and maintain cultivation tools and equipment

Participate in inventory checks and quality control procedures

Suggest improvements to increase yield or efficiency

Uphold company cultural values and core principles

Minimum Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age (or 18 in NY)

High School diploma or equivalent required

At least 3 years of relevant horticulture, agriculture, or cannabis cultivation experience

Vocational or academic background in plant sciences preferred

Knowledge of cannabis strains, growth cycles, and regulatory compliance

Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

Background check required

Excellent organizational and analytical skills

Proficient oral and written communication

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Able to work up to 10 hours/day with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs alone or 100 lbs with assistanceRegularly required to sit, stand, bend, squat, kneel, and climb ladders (up to 12 ft)

Work conditions include exposure to dust, odors, heat, humidity, cold, noise, and chemicals

Frequent computer and phone use; must manage frequent interruptions

Starting Rate: $19.75
