Referral Coordinator
Overview
The Referral Coordinator is responsible for maintaining information flow in the managed carereferral process for all contracted managed care health plans. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Compensation $45,000.00-$50,000.00
Responsibilities
Maintain information flow in the managed care referral process for all contracted managed care health plans.
Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma required.
Experience:
Work experience in a physician's office or medical institution with exposure to managed care and primary care rules and practices.
Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving, and decision‑making.
Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with staff, doctors, nurses, patients, and managed care representatives.
Skill in organizing work to achieve clinic goals and objectives.
Ability to communicate clearly.
Knowledge of governmental regulations and reimbursement requirements.
Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
