Job Opportunity: Locum Neurologist in Jackson, MI
Join a dedicated team at a well-respected neurology clinic in the heart of Jackson, Michigan. This facility is currently looking for a full-time Neurologist to address their ongoing needs. The practice environment is enriched with an experienced team and comprehensive support, including access to onsite lab and X-ray facilities.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care for neurology patients, primarily adults (95%) with a small pediatric caseload (5%).
- Manage a patient load of office/clinic visits per day within a typical 7.2-hour workday.
- Collaborate with a team of 3 neurologists and support staff including RNs and Medical Assistants.
- Perform required procedures such as radiologic exam interpretation, EMG, and botulinum toxin administration.
- Utilize the Epic documentation system effectively.
- Ensure timely and efficient patient care in a busy clinic setting from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM.
- MD/DO with Board Certification in Neurology (required).
- Active Michigan medical license (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
- Clean background check (highly preferred).
- Availability for full-time work (required).
- Recent NPDB self-query (pulled within the month of application) (required).
- Board Certified in Neurology (required).
- Current Michigan medical license (required).
- BLS certification (required).
- Completion of all necessary legal and credentialing paperwork.
