Forklift Operator 1st Shift – Ryder Supply Chain Solutions
Location: Grovetown, Georgia
Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Material Handler / Forklift Operator for the 1st Shift. Responsibilities include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting, and maintaining accurate paperwork. The role supports a modern warehouse using sit‑down forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers, primarily handling tractor parts.
Compensation and Schedule
Hourly Pay:
$16.00
per hour
Overtime Pay:
$24.00
per hour
Schedule: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday‑Friday (OT as necessary)

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
One year or more of related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
Valid Forklift Operator’s License
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a team; maintain professional relationships at all levels
Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, and with a good attendance record
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and follow health & safety methods
Available for a flexible schedule during the 1st Shift
Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
Additional Screening
Some positions require additional screening including employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle record checks, road tests, and/or background checks.
