Job Summary and Qualifications This is a Full Time Day shift position, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

The Sepsis Coordinator is responsible for providing performance improvement (PI) support and leadership to various clinical and non‑clinical service lines, participating in concurrent and retrospective review, facilitating PI teams, and coordinating all aspects of the medical staff peer review process.

What You Will Do In This Role

Identify and coordinate activities geared toward improved patient care processes and outcomes for the septic patient population.

Collaborate across the organization with appropriate leaders to develop metrics and data collection methodologies.

Provide analysis to achieve department and organizational performance improvement goals.

Develop reports that support PI activities.

Maintain communication with administration, medical staff and departmental leaders regarding PI activities.

What Qualifications You Will Need

Current RN license in the State of TX or compact license.

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in critical care or emergency nursing.

Recommended experience in quality improvement.
