We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Jr. Accountant
to join our accounting team. This role will support day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and timely month-end and year-end closings.
Responsibilities
Maintain all aspects of accounts receivable functions
Ensure timely collection of payments of receivables
Reconcile bank and credit card statements and other financial accounts
Support Accounts Payable functions
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Maintain and update financial records and documentation
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
Understanding of GAAP and financial principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
