Overview The successful candidate will provide facility‑wide inventory, material and supplies support for all facility locations and participate in the warehouse operations and activities of the Materials Department.

Functions and Responsibilities

Receive, pull, audit and deliver warehouse materials via ERP‑like system generated OMFs, DRPs and internal transfer tickets with complete accuracy.

Receive, unpack, verify and record incoming materials/supplies per company procedures using applicable forms.

Put‑away, transfer and store materials/supplies following company procedures.

Assemble, address, stamp and ship materials/supplies per company procedures.

Assist in loading/unloading of materials/supplies for inbound/outbound shipments.

Complete all required paperwork per department work instructions and procedures accurately and timely.

Assure materials/supplies and warehouse facilities are maintained in a safe, clean and orderly condition; participate in daily 6‑S activities and complete required process paperwork.

Prepare various materials for transfer to point of use, ensuring packaging standards are followed and all materials are handled safely to minimize risk.

Pick up and deliver materials/supplies utilizing warehouse equipment (forklifts, scissor‑lifts, floor jacks, etc.), hand tools, safety harnesses as required.

Perform accurate cycle counts of materials in stock.

Communicate with various company personnel to provide and receive information, resolve questions and issues, and coordinate activities with the Lead Warehouse Coordinator and/or Supervisor.

Participate in daily job briefings with the team: reviewing safe warehouse work practices, 6‑S, KPI’s, duties/tasks for the day and any specific projects.

Operate a computer to review inventory or drawing information.

Participate in annual inventory.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Training/Education Required

High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate and one‑to‑two years of increasingly responsible experience in a warehouse facility.

Forklift certification, or ability to obtain certification by passing forklift testing within 60 days of employment.

Qualifications and Requirements Knowledge Of

Best warehouse‑keeping practices; modern warehousing and store‑keeping procedures including receiving, stocking, and shipping.

Issuing materials/supplies, proper and orderly storage, optimum space utilization and stock inventory procedures.

Materials, equipment and supplies used in a manufacturing/production assembly environment.

Proper lifting techniques.

Record‑keeping techniques.

OSHA, health and safety regulations.

Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.

Inventory methods and best practices.

Ability To

Participate in the warehouse operations and activities of the department.

Receive, store, pick/pack and distribute materials/supplies and equipment to point of use.

Maintain appropriate stocking locations.

Establish and maintain effective warehouse‑keeping procedures.

Add, subtract, multiply and divide quickly and accurately.

Operate a computer terminal.

Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Lift heavy objects.

Maintain records, inventory and prepare documents.

Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.

Meet schedules and timelines.

Safety Requirements

Shall report all injuries/illnesses to their supervisor that occur at work, the day of the incident.

Shall report any unsafe conditions that are identified in their respective work area to their supervisor.

Shall comply with all CAF USA safety policies, procedures, and requirements that are communicated to them, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA) procedures.

Shall wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) that is communicated and supplied to them.

Shall keep their respective work area clean and orderly at all times.

Shall attend all CAF USA required training as soon as possible before the start of their assigned work.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $20/hr to $25/hr.
