We are seeking an experienced and proactive Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our Windom, MN facility. The ideal candidate will ensure production processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards and serving as the primary coordinator between warehouse operations and transportation.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate activities on the manufacturing floor to meet production goals and quality standards.
Oversee production line operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs.
Operate or coordinate the operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed for material handling.
Manage inventory levels, coordinate material movement, and ensure proper storage within the warehouse.
Train and mentor team members on safety practices, equipment operation, and manufacturing processes.
Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations.
Collaborate with maintenance teams for preventive maintenance schedules and repairs.
Maintain accurate production records and report on key performance indicators.
Requirements
Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
Warehouse experience including forklift operation is highly desirable.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, and factory safety standards.
Ability to lead a team effectively, motivate staff, and resolve operational issues promptly.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and process management.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
