Domiciliary Care Assistant (No Travel)

Permanent positions with guaranteed hours:
6‑hour shifts (08:00‑14:00 & 14:00‑20:00)
12‑hour shift (08:00‑20:00), including alternative weekends
£12.75 per hour with £500 welcome bonus – Paid breaks and excellent Bupa benefits.

Responsibilities
Assisting residents with personal care duties such as bathing, dressing and continence care in their own homes within the Village, championing dignity and independence.
Supporting at mealtimes, serving meals in apartments or in the care home, helping residents walk, transferring them in a wheelchair or using a hoist.
Promoting mental and physical activity through hobbies, interests or activities within the village.
Answering emergency calls when the care alert system is activated.
Working with the Domiciliary Care Manager and external professionals (GPs, Chiropodists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists) where appropriate.
Admin duties: keeping accurate records and maintaining full documentation to show care given and any changes to residents’ health.
Qualifications Your experience in a care or dementia setting, or a Level 2/3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is commendable. Passion for caring, honouring choices, prioritising safety, and an optimistic, compassionate attitude are essential.
