What You’ll Do The Assistant Manager is a full‑time position assisting the General Manager to lead and coach the team to provide great guest experiences, maintain professionalism, deliver exceptional service, ensure facility cleanliness, manage projection and audio‑visual equipment, supervise staff, handle finances, maintain safety and risk management, and promote the theater’s programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Regular and consistent attendance.
Uphold and administer all theater policies.
Train, develop, coach, and supervise non‑management employees.
Perform all staff positions as required.
Operate all projection and audio‑visual equipment, including maintenance, programming, and TMS operation.
Maintain required alcohol certification and training where applicable.
Monitor risk management: employee and patron safety, loss prevention, emergency procedures.
Ensure guest satisfaction.
Count, deposit, and reconcile all receipts (cash, credit, coupons, etc.).
Follow dress code and integrate company policies.
Complete or be in the process of completing the management certification program.
Review and understand the ROM.
Interview, hire, schedule, coach, counseling, suspend, and, with the GM or HR, terminate cast members.
Control costs, purchase and order concession and café inventory, and manage inventory audits.
Supervise theater maintenance, perform minor repairs, or engage qualified personnel for larger concerns.
Market and promote feature film engagements; schedule show times.
Read and understand training materials on sexual harassment and discrimination.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities As assigned by the GM or other senior manager.
Pay Scale Information [$22.00] per hour.

Education/Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. At least three months supervisory experience, or six months theater experience with completion of Cast Certification Program, or a combination thereof, or demonstrated leadership potential approved by VP.
Certification If assigned duties include alcohol sales, must be of legal age, complete required state or local training, and obtain Regal Responsible Beverage Server certification.
Language Ability Good public speaking skills; effectively communicate orally and in writing with employees, vendors, and corporate staff.
Math Ability Perform calculations rapidly and accurately; identify and correct errors.
Reasoning Ability Identify problems, gather data, evaluate alternatives, recommend solutions, and take initiative with minimal supervision.
Computer and Office Skills Experience with PC platforms, email, word processing, spreadsheets; operate copiers and office equipment; maintain filing systems.
Personal Skills Interface effectively with customers and co‑workers; exhibit sensitivity to others’ feelings; set goals, budget time, and prioritize tasks.
Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervise employees, conduct training and coaching, planning, assigning, appraising performance, rewarding, addressing complaints, resolving problems, and, in collaboration with GM, discipline employees and manage hiring.
Physical Demands Stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, lift up to 60 lbs. Perform occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling. Requires good vision and ability to adjust focus.
