FT Assistant Manager $22.00 Hour ( All Day Availability Required ) The full‑time assistant manager is a full‑time hourly employee whose primary function is the operation and supervision of a theatre and its employees, and to act as a representative to Regal in a way that is consistent with our mission statement and policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Regular and consistent attendance.

Upholding and administering all theatre policies.

Training, developing, coaching and supervising non‑management employees.

Performing all staff positions as required.

Operating all projection and audio‑visual equipment within the theatre, both hardware and software, including film handling (threading, building‑up, tearing‑down, etc.) and performing required maintenance. Maintenance of all booth and projection systems, TMS operation and related projection skills.

Ensuring required alcohol certification and training are current where applicable.

Monitoring risk management related to theatre safety, loss prevention, emergency situations, and managing reporting/ investigation of accidents.

Ensuring guest satisfaction.

Counting, depositing, and reconciling all receipts taken in during a business day – cash, credit cards, coupons, gift cards, checks, discount tickets and other modes of payment.

Adhering to dress code requirements.

Completing or being in the process of completing the management certification program.

Reviewing and understanding the ROM.

Interviewing, hiring, scheduling, coaching, counseling, suspending cast members, and terminating employees with oversight from the General Manager or other senior manager and in coordination with Human Resources.

Administering all applicable paperwork and upholding company HR policies.

Controlling costs, purchasing and ordering concession and café stock, inventory and auditing supplies.

Supervising theatre maintenance, performing minor repairs and arranging qualified personnel for major concerns.

Marketing and promoting feature film engagements; scheduling show times and delivering show schedules to proper channels.

Reading and understanding training materials on sexual harassment and discrimination.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities May be assigned additional duties by the GM or other senior manager.

Education / Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent (if not currently a high school student).

At least three months supervisory experience, or six months theatre experience with completion of Cast Certification Program, or a combination thereof, or recognized leadership potential subject to VP approval.

Alcohol Responsibility

If the theatre sells alcohol and your assigned duties include selling/serving alcohol, you must be of legal age and complete required state or local training and obtain the Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University.

Language Ability Possess good public speaking skills and effective communication in both oral and written form with employees, vendors, corporate staff, etc. Ability to listen, respond clearly and explain information.

Math Ability Perform calculations quickly and accurately, and identify and correct errors.

Reasoning Ability Identify problems, gather relevant data, note possible causes, evaluate information, recognize alternatives, reach conclusions and recommend solutions. Take action with minimal supervision and perform well under pressure.

Computer and Office Skills Proven experience with PC platforms, basic office programs (email, word processing, spreadsheets), operating copiers and other office equipment. File system organization and attention to detail. Use mechanical tools as necessary.

Personal Skills Interface effectively with customers, the public, and co‑workers; exhibit sensitivity; set goals, budget time, set priorities to achieve objectives.

Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervise an unspecified number of employees in accordance with Regal policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training and coaching, planning, assigning, reviewing performance, rewarding, addressing complaints, resolving problems and disciplining employees under GM or Assistant Manager direction. Interviewing and hiring may also be directed.

Physical Demands Requirements: stand frequently; walk; sit; use hands to handle objects; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. May climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally. Regularly lift up to 60 lbs. Vision: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, adjust focus.
