Vice President And Chief Privacy Officer

Permanent | Hybrid The Position The Vice President, Chief Privacy Officer is responsible for all activities related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of Children's Health's privacy policies and programs. Reporting to the EVP, Corporate Services, and Chief Compliance Officer, this leader will oversee a team of seven direct reports. This leader will build upon the work of prior leadership, listening to team needs and providing regulatory guidance to support informed decision-making. Additionally, they will begin to explore and shape the role of AI within the organization. Ideal candidates are dynamic, proactive leaders with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships while fostering open communication across all levels of staff. They must be able to maintain composure, listen to all perspectives, and develop workable solutions for everyone involved. Candidates with prior academic experience and an understanding of research and grant work are a plus. This role is based in Dallas, TX, with hybrid work arrangements available. Candidates must reside within Texas. Requirements Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate preferred. Certificate in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) or Healthcare Compliance (CHC) is required. A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience within a matrixed healthcare system or academic medical center is required.
