Location: APS Sentara Family Medicine 905 Thunder Rd STE 140 Elizabeth City, NC 27909 Hours and Schedule - Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM There is opportunity to work overtime. Perform patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Education

High School Graduate or equivalent Certification/Licensure

Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or certified EMT (EMT-B, AEMT) required Experience

Required to have one year of clinical/administrative experience Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting or one year of experience as an EMT, Paramedic, and/or Corpsman preferred. Phlebotomy experience preferred, plus experience with electronic medical records.
