$24.00/hr - $24.00/hr This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). This temporary position is located in Elizabeth City - Pasquotank County. Â

 Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $24.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).

 This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services. This position is located at 1208 N Road St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.

The purpose of this position is to evaluate professional diagnostic data to determine eligibility and required services, Develop a written plan of services in conjunction with the consumer. Provide vocational rehabilitation or independent living services within the context of a guidance and counseling relationship and provide supportive counseling, work with community partners, document service delivery, and complete applications.

Bachelor's degree in a discipline relative to the program served from an appropriately accredited institution; or

Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in an area related to program that provides experience in techniques of casework or counseling; or equivalent combination of education and experience
