The Opportunity We currently have an opportunity available for a Microbiologist to join our Structural Heart division in Santa Clara, CA. This is a fully On-Site. Structural Heart Business Mission: why we exist Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease. As the Microbiologist, you will be responsible for performing microbiologic testing and environmental and utility monitoring of controlled manufacturing areas and systems. Job Requirements Routine Environmental and Utilities Monitoring of controlled manufacturing areas and systems. Respond to planned and unplanned environmental disturbances to ensure minimum disruption to manufacturing activities. Media growth promotion, isolates qualification, and gram stain microbial identification. Product bioburden and endotoxin test submissions, testing, and disposition. Conduct investigation of microbiological test excursions Maintain the microbiology laboratory, equipment, and supplies. Support other miscellaneous microbiology and sterilization activities. Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Microbiology or related discipline 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
