Salary: $73588/year Department: Women's Biomedical Research Institute Physical Work Location: Annenberg Building, 1468 Madison Avenue, 24-16 Name PI or Supervisor: Michal Elovitz, MD Details of Research Project: You will participate in research studies aimed at understanding how microbes interact and traffic in the reproductive tract contributing to health and disease. Your main responsibilities in this research are to design, implement and execute high level research that serves to address the broad aims of the research outlined in the NIH sponsored research in Dr. Elovitz's research laboratory. Specifically, your research is focused on the interaction of vaginal microbes with epithelial and immune cells, trafficking and functional impact of microbes and their by-products and investigating therapeutic strategies to targeting microbial-cellular interactions in the reproductive tract.
