ClinicalResearch Nurse RN Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Nurse – Research Setting / Medical Division We are looking for a Registered Nurse with experience in taking vitals, compiling clinical reports, and working in public-facing roles. Experience in research and development (R&D) is required. Requirements: Must hold an active NY RN license. Experience in a research or medical division setting. Job Description The client is committed to helping athletes optimize their health and performance through research and education in hydration and nutrition science. Client has embarked on a new project to expand the research and athlete testing facility in Valhalla. This facility is responsible for conducting efficacy research on functional ingredients for hydration. The incumbent of this research technician role will be responsible for representing R&D teams with high standards and in accordance with ethical guidelines for human research and conduct. Additionally, the specific job responsibilities of the incumbent are as follows: Reporting to the Principal Scientist, Operations Lead, to execute the laboratory-based clinical research strategy and program at research hub in Valhalla, NY. Lead Phlebotomist working with the investigative team to ensure research program safety standards and development/execution of related SOPs. Assisting in the day-to-day execution of research projects including data collection. Qualifications/Requirements Registered nurse or medical technician. Ability and licensed to perform phlebotomy duties, including venous catheterization. Demonstrable knowledge of and following of good clinical practice (GCP) guidelines. One or more years of experience in clinical research. Must have a pro-active work style, able to multitask, and be flexible to work in a high-performance and ever-changing environment. Self-starter with good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with various personalities and work styles. Flexibility and willingness to work during non-traditional hours (e.g., start time before 8:00am or finish time after 5:00pm) as needed depending upon research schedule. Seniority level
