We are a leading manufacturer/distributor located in Norcross, GA, specializing in heavy equipment. We are currently seeking a skilled Industrial Machinery Mechanic to join our maintenance team to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment. Job Summary

The Industrial Machinery Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This role is essential to minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity across our production floor. Key Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical components and systems in industrial machinery. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machines including lubrication, adjustments, and parts replacement. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals. Troubleshoot issues with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Record all maintenance and repair work in maintenance logs or CMMS. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve machinery performance. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory compliance. Qualification

Required: Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial machinery maintenance or similar role. Proficient in using hand and power tools, welders, grinders, and diagnostic instruments. Knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, and pumps. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Preferred: Technical certificate or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanics, or related field. Experience with PLC troubleshooting and CMMS software. OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus. Schedule: 1st shift, 8am to 4:30pm. Occasional weekend or overtime work may be required.
