We are seeking a highly experienced Principal SME in Program Planning and Integration (PP&I) to drive excellence across our programs, with a focus on supporting the Aero initiative, APEX, which aims to drive continuous improvement and establish a Growth Mindset culture. This position is the SME in PP&I for the IFG Line of Business. Position interacts across a variety of organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, sustainment and production. This position will be a leading participant in the evaluation of program planning and scheduling products and practices, and will be key in the resultant remediation efforts upon identification of gaps. Summary of Key Duties Position acts independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational programs. Tasks include but are not limited to: Analyzing schedules and schedule products for o Internal and Cross contract technical integration o IMS/Earned Value Integrity o Sufficient Supplier representation o Ensuring all data is valid, actionable, and compliant to LM and government guidelines Develop Root Cause/Corrective Actions (RCCA) and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions. Represent PP&I as spokesperson and SME with all stakeholders. 1 on 1 and group coaching for planners and CAMs. Position will also collaborate with CAM and Finance function SMEs across Aeronautics and other Business Areas. In this role, you will develop and implement solutions to complex planning and scheduling issues, using advanced analytical and problem-solving techniques. You will identify and mitigate risks, and make decisions on planning and scheduling approaches, considering program risks, opportunities, and trade-offs. As a liaison between Aeronautics Central Team and LOB Planning SMEs, you will facilitate knowledge sharing and drive process improvements, communicate planning and scheduling requirements and best practices to program management, engineering, and other stakeholders. You will work independently with minimal supervision to achieve program planning and scheduling excellence, enabling IFG programs to deliver successful outcomes. Must be a US Citizen. Must obtain and maintain Secret Clearance as part of employment, but no clearance is required to start. This role may have occasional travel to suppliers or other facilities Note: Employee will be able to telecommute. Employee must be located near a major LM Aero site.
