Division Vice President Overview
As the Division Vice President, you are expected to be your division's subject matter expert that takes ownership of the Regional Directors leading, coaching and developing the Field Management team in their designated division to ensure company and client standards/procedures & goals are met, including meeting financial targets. You will maintain an outstanding relationship with client's operational management at all levels from field level through senior management. You will be expected to drive superior levels of service requirements as expected by our company's customers.
Salary Range : $125,000 to $160,000 per year
Bonus Opportunity : 20%
Responsibilities
(include, but are not limited to)
Conducts frequent visits within division no less than once quarterly (extensive travel) Creates and analyzes statistical and financial reports Creates and executes detailed plans alongside the COO Creates and manages the division's budget Creates and monitors weekly reports to ensure financial objectives are achieved and deficiencies are identified and addressed Develops and exceeds the UST & Client Service requirements Develops and leads innovative programs that audit, measure and drive improvements in location performance Develops and leads innovative programs to train, evaluate & coach subordinate staff in the successful operation of their locations Ensures all operations are consistently in compliance with DOT, OSHA and UST requirements Ensures all operations have adequate levels of trained personnel to operate successfully Ensures financial success of the division Ensures new start-ups are rolled out in a manner that creates long-term success Ensures pro-active follow up with clients to review concerns specific to individual operations Ensures Regional Directors are conducting ride behinds for the evaluation of location staff and independent contractors to determine skill levels and identify and lead coaching opportunities Grows and fosters a strong client relationship Improves revenue stream by identifying opportunities for and providing additional value-added services to clients Manages multiple location operations with emphasis on service and financial objectives Monitors contractor earnings and leads programs that limit the exposure of contractor debt Oversees P&L for division Supports the overall success of UST throughout division
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and/or 6 plus years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook Knowledge of DOT regulation Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to problem solve and creatively think of innovative solutions Ability to balance customer satisfaction with cost effectiveness Ability to multi-task and provide thorough follow-up Traveling up to 50% and 24/7 availability depending on performance of division
