Divisional Director of Operations Overview

As the Divisional Director, you will successfully lead a field management team by ensuring company standards, procedures, and goals are met or exceeded, including meeting productivity and financial targets. This role is designed for an extremely motivated individual, who will take pride in achieving a best-in-class level of service, as expected by our clients. This individual must possess a strong leadership presence, refined business acumen, and the ability to retain and develop the best talent in the industry.

Salary Range : $100,000 to $125,000 per year

Bonus Opportunity : 20%

Responsibilities

(include, but are not limited to)

Oversee daily operations with emphasis on service and financial objectives Meet or exceed the UST & Client Service requirements Meet or exceed budget requirements Conduct frequent visits across the division no less than once quarterly (depending on the number of locations) Support, evaluate & mentor subordinate staff in the successful operation of their locations Ensure all operations have adequate personnel to operate successfully Assist in recruiting of new owner-operators Follow through with managers to ensure proper training is taking place Conduct business in a manner that will enhance the reputation of UST, our contractors & customers Follow up with clients to review concerns specific to individual operations Conduct ride behind and evaluation of contractors to determine skill levels Monitor Cost Per Stop and Capacity Levels Monitor weekly reports to ensure financial objectives are being met for UST and the Client Monitor weekly settlements to ensure contractors goals are being achieved Ensure all operations are operating in compliance with DOT and OSHA requirements Support the overall success of UST in all regions and ventures Analyze and create statistical reports & financial Statements

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 6 plus years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience 50% travel; hours and days of availability may fluctuate during times of greater demand Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note, and Outlook Knowledge of DOT regulation Balance customer satisfaction with cost-effectiveness
