Vita Dental seeks an Expanded-Functions Dental Assistant to support our growing practice and fabulous team. We're seeking individuals with at least one year of dental assisting experience with expanded functions. Coronal Polishing and Caries Prevention are a plus!
Responsibilities Assisting the dentist using 4-handed dentistry Taking & developing dental radiographs. Comforts patients by anticipating their anxieties and answering their questions. Place restorations. Ensures accurate patient records (treatment planning, medical history) Takes dental impressions & pour models. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Prepares treatment rooms, including decontamination, sterilization, cleaning handpieces and the room, and restocking supplies. Qualifications Dental: 1 year (REQUIRED) Radiology License (REQUIRED) Expanded Functions (REQUIRED) Coronal Polishing (Preferred) Nitrous Certification (Preferred) Benefits Health benefits, HSA, Vision, and 401 (k) for Full-time employees only PTO, Holiday, and Incentives can be prorated for Part-time employees
