Our state-of-the-art centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries, workers' compensation, and occupational medicine. Each location is equipped with an onsite lab and in-house x-ray capability. AFC is the parent company of AFC Franchising, LLC (AFCF). This position works directly with the franchised business location. The specific job duties and benefits can vary between franchises. Job Summary
Provide high-quality care to patients. Manage and direct staff in the support of the care of our patients. Responsibilities
Provide and manage high-quality patient care. Supervise all clinical staff, including mid-level providers. Oversee Occupational health / DOT Physicals / Workers Compensation / Immigration Physicals. Ensure all charts are filled out and medical records are completed in a timely fashion. Process biological specimens when needed. Lab Supervision as needed. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications
Board Certified/Board Eligible
Emergency Room, Family Practice, Occupational Medicine, or Orthopedic Medicine (w/ER or Urgent Care experience). Excellent communicator with staff, patients and management. Professional appearance, great attitude and great bedside manners. Problem solver, quick learner, fast thinker. Computer systems and EMR savvy. HIPAA compliant. Active and current medical license to practice in the state of California, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required. Ability to multi-task and work independently.
