This position is located at Eglin AFB in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and will support the F-35 Lightning II Program. This position will perform duties as a Security Generalist and will be responsible for security support of classified and unclassified areas of the F-35 Integrated Training Center (ITC) and/or F-35 Fighter Squadrons. Duties will include, but are not limited to: assist instructors, students, and visitors using facilities; operate badging and access control systems; monitor security camera systems; perform random searches; enforce all USAF and local security procedures and practices including controlling access to secure facilities, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, and monitoring compliance with COMSEC and COMPUSEC (act as COMSEC/SVRO Custodian as needed); provide assistance with file plans and documentation maintenance in classified containers; change combinations and generate SF 700s; assist in self inspections and prepare for customer inspections; perform and document vault alarm tests; assist in security investigations; assist in providing training and scheduling of Level 1 Security Generalists in specified locations; and escort un-cleared personnel within classified areas. Security Generalists will be hired to support either first, second, or third shift operations to include weekends as the need arises. While assigned shifts should be stable, applicants may be required to change shifts, if necessary, to support mission requirements. Desired skills: 1.) Experience working on the F-35 Program. 2.) Knowledge of ICD 705 Physical Security knowledge. 3.) Previous SAP experience & knowledge of DoD 5205.07. 4.) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 5.) Ability to multi-task and work in a team setting achieving common goals. Excellent written and verbal skills. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products.
